The unauthorized biopic of Britney Spears, Britney Ever After, just hit the internet today and it seems ok.
The trailer of Lifetime's movie event – let's call it FTV in Indonesia – also features the head shaving incident, the flipping out at the press after the head shaving incident, a shot of her smoking with a thousand-yard stare, (one of) the shotgun wedding(s), and some pig-tails-era choreography.
So, it’s exactly as the trailer for a budget telemovie about Britney Spears’ life should be.
Natasha Basset will play Britney, and judging by the glimpse we get of her in the trailer, she bears a passable resemblance to the star.
The two hour film debuts in the US on February 18, and will follow her career from a young Louisiana girl with stars in her eyes (or something) through to her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her personal issues, her numerous weddings, the custody hearing that saw her lose her kids, and her glorious resurrection. It’s gonna be fun – plus they have definitely cast actors to play JT and Kevin Federline, which is a treat in itself.
